3. Go snorkeling at Tunnels Beach

Well regarded as one of the best (if not the best) beaches for snorkeling, Tunnels Beach offers amazing an amazing underwater topography that hosts a wide array of colorful sea creatures. If you're not in the mood for soaking up the rays in the open water, Tunnels also has a great beach perfect for strolling and absorbing the majesty of Bali Hai -- famously captured in the movie South Pacific.

4. Take a helicopter tour of the North Shore

While the majesty of the Na Pali coastline can be viewed from many vantage points, a view from above comes second to none. With its steep, razor-edged cliffs and catheral-like arrangement, the Na Pali coast will leave you awe-inspired. There are several tour companies offering helicopter flights along the Na Pali, so be sure to look around for the best package and prices. Any fear of flying will be quickly laid to rest in the almost surreal serenity and beauty of the Na Pali.
