oung, old or in-between, visitors to Kaua'i will find innumerable sources of enjoyment and entertainment. In fact, so many people fall in love with what Kaua'i has to offer that they decide to make Kaua'i their permanent residence, or at the very least, their most-traveled-to vacation destination.

Each shore has its own unique climate, landscapes and overall personality. The island is small enough to get a taste for all it offers during your stay, but large and interesting enough to keep you coming back for more. In this section, we hope to offer some ideas for what to do and see in Kaua'i that have not already been mentioned in the top ten list.

One thing to keep in mind as you make your way around the island is to visit in the Hawaiian style and not rush things. One thing you'll notice while you're on-island is that the hustle-and-bustle of everyday life on the mainland is lacking on Kaua'i. And for good reason: with surroundings as beautiful and peaceful and serene, molded over eons, there is an overwhelming urge to just kick back and relax. So leave your itineraries and schedules behind -- Kaua'i isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
