ou will probably want to rent a car while you're on-island. While you may feel like just relaxing on a beach sipping Mai Tai's your entire vacation, there are many interesting sites to see and places to go that are only accessible via personal travel. We've found it very enjoyable to hop in a vehicle and take full advantage of what the island has to offer, without being rushed or restricted by organized tours. Kaua'i is small enough and chock-full of amazing beauties, so that if you get lost it's probably going to be a worthwhile adventure.

Whether you want to rent a topless Jeep, a sporty Mustang, or a family sedan, all major rental car agencies have service on Kaua'i. We strongly recommend that you book a car rental as soon as your travel plans have been finalized; rental cars go quickly during peak seasons!
