The major attraction at Shipwreck Beach are not so much the beaches themselves but the large cliffs which jut into the ocean. This is a great place to take an afternoon hike along the cliffs and enjoy the surf breaking against the shore. The waves are almost always quite large here and you'll often see experienced surfers and windsurfers braving the waters.
