Secret Beach (formally known as Kauapea beach) is one of two beaches on Kaua'i where people often go "in the buff" (the other being Donkey Beach on the East Shore). But even if you're not into that, Secret Beach is still a sort of magical place on Kaua'i's North Shore. Secret Beach is definitely "off the beaten path" and requires a short hike to reach it. From the soft golden sand beach, you can see Kilauea Lighthouse perched high on a cliff that looks over Moku'ae'ae Island (inhabited solely by hundreds of sea birds).

Note that if you decide to explore your wild side and "tan without tan lines", be aware that public nudity is technically illegal in Hawai'i and you could be ticketed!
