One of the North Shore's most tranquil beaches, 'Anini Beach expanses several miles and is tamed by a large reef which extends practically onshore. The reef provides a good spot for snorkeling and the water is often shallow, making this a good location to bring small children.

'Anini Beach is actually a park, so there are restroom, shower and covered picnic facilities on-site (making this a good spot for large gatherings), and camping is allowed (with a permit). And if you're a horse fan, be sure to walk across the street from the park and check out the Kaua'i Polo Club polo matches during the summer on Sunday afternoons.
